Run Jesse, Run!

Run Jesse, Run! Not for President of The United States, but from the Obamadroids – especially the black ones – who are going to attack you for talking about cutting off Senator Obama's balls. They are going to call you jealous and an "old guard" civil rights leader. Don't you talk bad about Senator Obama. Obama's gon' free the slaves.

First, I could care less about someone cutting off Obama's nutsack. Honestly, I doubt if they could find it. In my opinion, Obama has no balls for Reverend Jackson to cut.

In all seriousness, I agree with Reverend Jesse Jackson when he says that Barry "talks down to black people". Jackson, Sr., who ironically has supported Flipper, albeit half-heartedly at times, spoke the truth. I've expressed and suggested on my blog throughout the presidential campaign that Barack Obama talks down to African-Americans/blacks. For example, during a debate in February, Senator Obama seemed to crow about how he went to Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta during King’s birthday remembrance and confronted blacks about their anti-Semitism, yet to-date he has not gone to Jewish synagogues to confront racism by some in the Jewish community. Barack would NEVER talk about the ills and the need for personal, parental or other kinds of social responsibilities when it comes to other racial, ethnic or religious groups. When he attacked poor, working-class and rural whites, he was lambasted. He cleaned up his statements and exhibited penitence of the highest order. Since then, he has not insinuated a peep about the mentality of poor, working-class or rural whites.

When discussing the issue of personal and parental responsibility, Barack Obama as a presidential candidate or POTUS, should not single out African-Americans/blacks in his speeches. If he is to discuss personal and parental responsibility, Obama should not limit the conversation to people of African descent. Personal and parental responsibility should be discussed on a macrosocial level - and not just at black churches and conventions. I don't care about his identity. It is irrelevant. Obama, who purports himself as a potential president for all Americans, cannot consistently single out one racial group - mainly blacks - when it comes to addressing social responsibility. When he does, it makes him look condescending to some African-Americans.

I think that it is safe to say that every single racial and ethnic group in America have social problems. Recently, a white male went on an eight person killing spree in Illinois and Missouri. Last week in Vermont, a twelve year old girl was lured from her home, raped and killed by a white male child predator. I recently observed a white male, who appeared to be middle-aged and middle-class, stealing underwear from Marshalls (yes, Marshalls) in suburban Houston. I could talk at length about the shortcomings of every racial, ethnic and religious group in this country, yet do we hear Senator Obama speaking to other groups about "personal and parental responsibility"? No.

The discourse concerning personal and parental responsibility in the African-American community without a doubt needs to take place. In fact, conversation and action were occurring in the black community long before Senator Barack Obama came on the national scene with his big teeth and appeaser's smile. In my opinion, Senator Obama in his quest to become POTUS (President of The United States) should not place African-Americans/blacks under the national microscope when he doesn't reciprocate the same to other groups.

Imagine if Presidents George W. Bush or William Jefferson Clinton or even Senator John McCain had chided African-Americans/blacks to be more "personally and parentally responsible" on the national stage. There would be hell to pay. Barack Obama should not get a pass because of his identity – especially when he is exhibiting contradictions.

I am glad you said this. The problem is you and only a few other black folk have the courage to say it. A number of black folk who support Obama quietly question his behavior. So many "us" want to see an Afro American president that we are willing to look the other way and not ask question about certain of his behaviors.

The idiots among us forever retort: He is not running for President of black American.

Well, duh!!!

No man or woman running for the highest office should ever be given a free ride like the kind too many of us are giving Obama.

More honesty, I am not a big fan of Jackson. But the words that have been used to describe him since he made the now infamous comment are just mean and UGLY.
